Mission
Are you ready to take charge of your health following your cancer diagnosis?
You may well be going through an emotional rollercoaster where you can’t quite see the woods for the trees. Some of the common feelings may be:
I’m stressed by my cancer diagnosis…
I’m anxious about what the future holds…
I’m worried about how long I’ve got to live…
These feelings can then lead to a vicious cycle of further stress and negative thoughts especially when there is so much uncertainty and the stakes are high.
Not helped by the fact that some people may also have other physical symptoms such as sleep problems, tiredness, palpitations, pain, etc.
But what if we could start to address some of these negative feelings by tackling them head on and transform them into something more positive?
“I’m comfortable with my cancer diagnosis… because I know I have more options available to me and I know where to find the information I need.”
“I’m at peace with where things are…. because I know that I’m fully invested and committed to doing the very best I can to help myself.”
“I am going to take measures to keep fit and healthy, both mentally and physically… because I’ve only got one shot at this life as we know it, and I want to make the most of it and for it to count.”
As a NHS doctor with over a decade of treating tens of thousands of patients, I firmly believe in the importance of empowering patients to take charge of their own health and the idea of forming a partnership between the clinician and the patient. This also applies to the cancer coaching world.
Whilst the NHS will do its very best to help you on your cancer journey, you won’t necessarily be taught to:
-
Understand how the medical system works
-
How to research about cancer and to have a better awareness of some of the options available to you in terms of cancer treatments
-
Make sure you are in the right mindset so that you can make good decisions
-
Be receptive to the various options available to you and not to be afraid to ask questions
-
Be proactive and seek appropriate and timely advice
-
Be open to new ways of thinking and acquire good and better habits
-
Optimise your lifestyle
So, I’ve decided to put together a brand-new beta Holistic Cancer Care Coaching Programme (called CanSure Heal It ®) to do just that and to help cancer patients take responsibility for their own health so that they can make smarter choices in the hope that it may lead to better outcomes.
I’m looking for five motivated individuals who are ready to optimise their health and wellbeing, change their mindset and tackle their cancer diagnosis head on.
This programme does not offer specific cancer treatments nor give direct advice in connection with treatment (as this would be in breach of the Cancer Act of 1939) but will be a powerful eight-week programme of transformation to help you along your cancer journey.
You’re going to get direct, one-to-one access to me and my extensive knowledge as a frontline NHS General Practitioner, a former private GP and an Oxford-educated Cancer Immunologist.
The course will teach you how to approach your cancer care tailored to your needs, but also give you the necessary tools to navigate your cancer journey so that you feel you are in control each step of the way.
And as one of the first five pioneers, I’m going to thank you by creating everything bespoke and customised just for you.
And the added bonus is that by enrolling into this programme, you will also have the opportunity to directly contribute to a bigger vision.
That is, your views and feedback (particularly by the end of the programme where you will become the expert individual) will be instrumental when I come to set up a primary care cancer wellbeing centre.
This centre will be a first of its kind to help cancer patients like yourself, and their families where the prime focus will be on cancer prevention, lifestyle medicine and holistic care.
Could this programme be a game-changer for you and save you precious time?
Timing is critical when it comes to cancer care and management, so let’s make it a priority and take action today. It starts with you and your choices.
